A few words about us
New Beginning Christian Community Church was birthed from a vision in the heart of Pastor Ronald (Dave) Houf. His vision was to reach families, friends, and others who do not have a personal relationship with the Lord. The message was that everyone can have a New Beginning.
His goal through the help of the Holy Spirit, would be achieved thru our Mission Statement. Change Minds! Change Hearts! Change Lives!; by proclaiming the word of God, teaching the word of God, testifying the word of God, showing the love of God, and living the word of God!
Pastor Dave founded the church on May 23, 2010; services were held at Ruth Livingston Elementary School in Pasco, WA where approximately 50 people were in attendance. After several months, services were held in the Franklin Country PUD Building in Pasco, WA. Currently service is being held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pasco, WA. During the last 12 years, we have had our up and downs, but through it all, we keep standing!
From the beginning, Pastor Dave had the vision of reaching our community, the youth, the homeless, the elderly, and our brothers in Prison. The church was established on the following scripture: Matthew 28:19: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”
Through this ministry, Pastor Dave has been blessed with dynamic leaders, ministers, and an awesome congregation that share his vision to be a servant and have a servant’s heart to impact our community with God’s word and His love.
Pastor Dave has been married to his wife, Mary, for 38 years. They have three sons, Derionte’, Cameron, & Jerome. Unfortunately, their daughter Tanisha, passed away in November 2009. They have four grandchildren who they love dearly.
